Climate

Lowland Sabah has an average daily temperature ranging from 23 to 32 degree Celsius. Montane and lower montane and forests are several degrees cooler. At the Kinabalu Park Headquarters, the average temperature ranges between a spring-like 15 and 22 degrees Celsius.

The northeast monsoon from November to March brings frequent heavy rains. In regions such as Danum Valley, Tabin and Kinabatangan river are expected to be very wet during the peak of the monsoon between December to February.
